ニードルパンチ生地を使用した、オーバーシャツジャケット。
ニードルパンチ加工とは、剣山のような針で２枚の異なる生地の繊維を絡ませて圧着させるもので、熟練職人による希少な伝統技術です。
使用している生地は、透けるほど薄く軽いチェック柄のウールガーゼと、伸縮性のある無地のジャージベロアです。
加工の過程で、無地のベロアにチェック柄を浮かび上がらせ、独特の表情を生み出します。ふんわりと空気を含ませることで驚くほど軽く、暖かな生地に仕上げています。
特殊ミシン(Mseamer®)を使い、縫い合わせる時に必要な縫い代を極限まで細くする事で、素材の良さを100%引き出しています。
見た目にも美しく、着心地の軽さ、快適さを追求しています。

An overshirt jacket made from needle-punched fabric.
Needle-punching is a rare, traditional technique performed by skilled artisans, in which the fibers of two different fabrics are interlaced and bonded using needles resembling a hedgehog’s quills. The fabrics used are a lightweight, sheer check-patterned wool gauze and a stretchy, solid-color jersey velour. During the processing, the check pattern emerges on the solid-color velour, creating a unique visual effect. By trapping air within the fabric, it results in a surprisingly light yet warm finish.
Using a special sewing machine (Mseamer®), the seam allowances required for assembly are minimized to the absolute minimum, bringing out 100% of the materials’ inherent qualities. We strive for a beautiful appearance, lightweight feel, and superior comfort.
